Yoyo April Ornament
I had managed to kill two birds with one stone again this month by combining 2009 Christmas Ornament Challenge with Basket of Biscornu Challenge with this little gem.

Since I'm not a real big fan of beads I just don't have a bunch around so I used large colonial knots in the flowers and small french knots on the "star" motifs. I like it just as well with all the knots as I would with beads. You can see the knots really well in the close-up photo. The photo in the top left is pretty true to color, I have no idea what happened to the other two.

This is quite beautiful. I am also very impressed that you chose to do Colonial knots and French knots instead of beads. I usually do just the opposite--use beads instead of knots.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful ornie!

This is a pretty biscornu and it is so elegant! I love your Colonial and French knots- a great substitution for beads.
