I wanted to make two ornaments for January and almost succeeded! I got the stitching done on 1/25 but didn't finish this ornament into a needleroll until today. So technically, this is my February ornament but I'm still one behind from where I wanted to be right now. LOL - oh well, I still have two ornaments I might not have had if it weren't for this blog. Now here are the details:

Design: "Merry Christmas Roll" by Shepherd's Bush (from the Just Cross Stitch magazine, 1997 ornament issue)
Fabric: a mystery piece that was in my stash...it's some sort of raw-type linen
Threads/embellishments: DMC floss, Mill Hill beads, plain ol' ribbon, & a button from my stash
Finished as: a needle roll
Size: a little less than six inches long and a little less than two inches wide
