Hi everyone. My name is Doreen Lynn
As a new member, I wanted to make a special first ornament. I hoped to make a pendiboulle, but it didn't work out so I made a biscornu shape (also my first).

The designs are my own creation. I love to design stars so I made this one to color coordinate for Valentines Day - lots of pink and red. Come to my blog and VOTE FOR A STAR! The most popular one will be made available free of charge for everyone to use. Of course, you can use the colors of your choice.
The fabric is Monaco, 28 count, White. I used little seed pearls at each corner and double-faced satin ribbon for the hanger. The floss is Robison-Anton. (They are sponsoring a 9/11 project I am designing and I use their floss exclusively.) The stripes on the back are backstitch (over 5, back 2) using 6 strands of floss.
I am really looking forward to making more ornaments and getting to know everyone.
Take care!
