I had hoped to have four ornaments completed by the end of February but fell a little behind, so I picked this quick and easy ornament. After just a couple of hours of stitching and finishing, this makes ornament number three for 2009. Here are the details:Fabric: a mystery piece that was in my stash...it's some sort of raw-type linen
Design: "Starry Snowman" by Homespun Elegance Ltd. from the 1998 Just Cross Stitch Ornament Issue
Threads/embellishments: DMC floss and some twine
Finished as: a plain ol' hanging Christmas ornament
Size: right over three inches wide and right under three inches tall (not including the twine hanger)
Stitched and finished by LoriRay

What a great finish. I like the fringe and use of twine - it keeps it 'country'. Well done.
